We are the Devon representatives of the Nationwide Association of Blood Bikes. A nationwide group of blood bike volunteers working together.

 

We have service level agreements with all 3 hospital trusts in Devon, providing our FREE Blood Bike service to all 4 of the major hospitals in Devon, alongside community hospitals and Hospices.

 

We run entirely on donations, money raised from our volunteers fundraising and some grants, we do not accept any payment for our service.

 

We are entirely volunteer led with NO paid staff.

Every penny donated to us is used to keep our FREE Blood Bike service operational.

 

Since November 2018, we have saved the NHS & Hospices in Devon over £800,000 in transportation costs. Enabling the money to be spent on patient care instead.

 

But the main reason to choose us, is our fantastic volunteers who provide our service 365 days a year, 24 hours a day in all conditions. They are our true heroes, our coordinators, rider, drivers, fundraisers and admin team, and they deserve your support
