South West Blood Bikes is looking for Volunteer Controllers to join our team and become an essential part of our FREE Blood Bike Service, supporting the NHS and hospices in Devon.

What Does the Role Involve?
As a Volunteer Controller, you’ll play a crucial role in coordinating our life-saving service. You’ll help ensure urgent medical supplies, blood, and other essentials are delivered efficiently and on time.

Flexible Shifts to Suit You
We offer 3 different shift periods, 7 days a week, so you can choose what works best for your schedule:

• 8 AM – 5 PM
• 5 PM – 10 PM
• 10 PM – 8 AM (overnight)

You can volunteer for 1, 2, or all 3 shifts in a day, or mix and match to suit your availability. We ask for a minimum commitment of 3 shifts per week.

What You’ll Need

• A good telephone manner.
• A mobile phone and a laptop.
• A willingness to learn (we provide full training!).
